Black Clover

Hey everyone! So the other day, I found myself with a little free time and boredom so I decided to start watching a new series called Black Clover that I've been hearing good things about. Its about two orphans who were mysteriously abandoned and adopted, and based in a world where everything is based around magic. The orphans were found and adopted by the owner of a church and named Asta and Yuno (pretty cool names lol). Yuno is your typical handsome, gifted, quiet, perfect bad-ass character. He was also chosen by the 4 leaf clover grimoire, the same as the original wizard king. Asta on the other hand, is basically a short obnoxious runt who was born with no apparent magic. Despite never being able to use magic, Asta dreams of one day becoming the wizard king and trains extremely hard to one day be able to use magic. Everyone looks down on Asta is a loser for not being able to do magic. Everyone except Yuno. One thing I like about the show is how everyone looks down on the main character, but the one who respects him the most and sees the most potential in him is the one that everyone else looks up to. It was shown that Yuno was weak and timid as a kid and one day got into a bad situation. Asta was the one who saved him and they survived thanks to Asta's never give up attitude. This inspired Yuno to become stronger and become who he is today. Asta and Yuno respect each other and consider each other rivals who are on a race to see who will become the wizard king.
