One Piece: Wano Arc Postponed?

So if you follow One Piece news, you may have heard that its writer, Eiichiro Oda, publicly stated that the much anticipated Wano arc was supposed to begin sometime this year. Wellllll... Its currently about half-way past November and we are still in the midst of another arc that started early last year and was supposed to end early this year. An update from Oda has recently been published in which he now estimates that the Wano arco will not begin for another 1-2 years. Damn. Close enough man. This is sad news for many people since the Wano arc has been stated by Oda to be the most action-packed and exciting arc of One Piece since the very eventful Marinford arc. Also, it is the arc in which the protagonist, Monkey D. Luffy finally takes on a yonko (basically one of the top dogs in the entire series). There is good news however, because in the recent update, Oda says the Wano arc will include an episode about Ace, Luffy's late older brother. Here is the summary of the interview of Eiichiro Oda:
